Membership Benefits

Membership in the Shipping Federation of Canada is open to ship owners, operators and agents, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Membership benefits include:

  • Voting rights at the Federation's Annual Meeting
  • Eligibility for election to the Board of Directors
  • Eligibility to participate in any Standing Committee (e.g. pilotage committee, customs committee, seaway committee, passenger committee, intermodal committee)
  • Inclusion of company name on advocacy documents prepared on behalf of members
  • Access to the restricted area of the Federation's website, which includes regulatory updates and reference documents, industry best practices, circular letters and the Manual of Port Expenses.
  • Preferential rates for Federation conferences, seminar, training programs
