TRAINING

An essential element of the Shipping Federation’s mandate is to ensure that members and other maritime industry stakeholders (including government officials and regulators) have access to quality training programs on relevant aspects of the commercial shipping industry. This is accomplished by developing and delivering courses that have been specifically tailored to the needs and interests of the industry, establishing partnerships with other organizations to optimize the use of existing resources and leverage the Federation’s training efforts, and providing information on training resources in addition to those offered by the Federation.
